Will Apple report 2.8 billion active devices in its holiday-quarter results?

Question

This market will resolve YES if Apple states that its worldwide installed base of active devices has reached at least 2.8 billion in the official results release, presentation or earnings call for its first fiscal quarter of 2027, the holiday quarter ending in December 2026. Exactly 2.8 billion qualifies. A statement referring to the installed base at the time of that same results presentation also qualifies, provided it describes an achieved number rather than management's future ambition.
