This market will resolve YES if the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics initially reports that total nonfarm payroll employment increased by more than 50,000 jobs in August 2026 on a seasonally adjusted, month-over-month basis.

The controlling figure is the August monthly change in “Total nonfarm” payroll employment published in the BLS Employment Situation release, normally appearing in the release headline and Table B-1. The comparison is between the preliminary seasonally adjusted level
