Discovery, Mattel Studios or another official production entity publicly announces that a new live-action theatrical sequel to the 2023 film Barbie is moving forward with Margot Robbie officially attached to reprise the role of Barbie.

The sequel does not need to have entered principal photography before the deadline.

A release date is not required.
