This market will resolve YES if the US Department of Energy names IBM, or a majority-owned IBM subsidiary, as a funded prime recipient or explicitly funded co-recipient in the first award round of the Quantum Genesis Q Competition. Merely attending the applicant webinar or appearing as an adviser does not qualify.

This is about selection for the new competition, not whether IBM has already built a fault-tolerant computer. A supplier relationship to another winner counts only if the award itself
