Will Alaska repeal ranked-choice voting in its November 3 referendum?

Question

This market will resolve YES if Alaska officially approves Ballot Measure 2, initiative 24ESEG, in the November 3, 2026 general election. The initiative would repeal the open top-four primary and ranked-choice general-election system, restore party primaries and change associated election and campaign-disclosure provisions. This is the 2026 proposal, not the similarly numbered 2024 referendum that failed. YES refers to passage of the whole measure as officially presented; it is not a prediction
