This market will resolve YES if UEFA’s final scores for all league-phase fixtures assigned to Matchday 1 contain forty or more goals in total.  Regulation and stoppage-time goals, own goals and officially awarded scores count.

The market resolves NO if the final total is thirty-nine or fewer or outstanding fixtures have not produced forty by October 15.  A postponed match remains part of Matchday 1 when UEFA keeps that designation. An abandoned match uses the awarded score; a replay counts on
