Will the US lose jobs in January’s February 5 employment report?

Question

This market will resolve YES if the first Bureau of Labor Statistics Employment Situation release covering January 2027 reports a strictly negative seasonally adjusted monthly change in total nonfarm payroll employment. The designated publication is scheduled for February 5, 2027 at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time. A loss of at least one thousand jobs at the precision printed in the official release qualifies. An unchanged reading, an increase, or a displayed change of zero resolves NO.
