Will the United States end 2026 with at least 450 active oil rigs?

Question

This market resolves YES if the final Baker Hughes U.S. Rotary Rig Count applicable to the end of calendar year 2026 reports 450 or more active oil-directed rigs in the United States.

Only rigs classified by Baker Hughes as Oil will count.

Natural-gas rigs, miscellaneous rigs and the combined total U.S. rig count will not count toward the threshold.

For resolution, the relevant figure will be the latest Baker Hughes U.S. rig-count report whose measurement date falls in calendar year 2026.
