Will summer 2027 be mainland Spain’s hottest summer in AEMET’s record?

Question

This market will resolve YES if AEMET identifies meteorological summer 2027 as strictly the warmest summer in its comparable mainland-Spain temperature series beginning in 1961. Meteorological summer means June, July and August together. The relevant statistic is the seasonal mean temperature over mainland Spain, not the highest daily reading, the mean maximum temperature, the number of heatwave days or the temperature at a particular city.

Compare summer 2027 with every earlier summer from 196
